The top 28 point scorers in races held in the Southland/Otago region from 30th April 2024 to 22nd June 2024, that have had a minimum of two starts in the region in that timeframe will be split based on Ratings to contest the two Winter Rewards races. PLEASE NOTE: Horses that ascend to a rating above R57 during the qualifying period remain eligible. If sufficient entries this race will be split based on ratings/conditions, meaning a higher rating 1-win pacer may be included in a lower rating race. Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary.

ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS
In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS
Owners and Trainers are reminded that the club has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the club to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the club of the same.
SPLITTING FIELDS
In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the club's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.
DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS
In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.
