Learners Mobile Pace 2400 metres

This heat was won by the Aaron Swain trained Fiftyshadesofhay a Badland’s Hanover mare out of Christian Cullen mare Supreme Classie. She beat Ideal BB from Kirk Larsen’s stable by half a length running the distance in 3-13.0.

Non Winners Trot (up to MR 48) 2400 metre stand

Unqualified Trixton three year old Kiwitrix beat Stay Ahead by three quarters of a length. Kiwitrix is out of Kylie Ree making him a half-brother to Springbank Lachie and Hawaiian Hula.

Non-Winners Mobile Pace (up to MR50) – 2400 metre mobile

The well bred Atomic Reactor won this heat by half a length beating A Smidgen More. Atomic Reactor is by Auckland Reactor out of Washington VC mare Make Mine Roses which is a half-sister to Breath Of Life the winner of seven races. The winning time was 3-10.8. He was driven by Brent Barclay.

Non-Winners Mobile Pace (up to MR 50) 2400 metre mobile

The Art Major gelding Ronnie Pickering beat Johnny Speight by one and three quarter lengths in this heat. He looks ready to live up to his breeding.

Learners Mobile Pace – 2400 metre mobile

The Mark and Debbie Shirley trained Beaver won this heat. He’s a four year old gelding by American Ideal.

Trot (Up to R54)

Jaccka Josh made a return to the track for trainer Charlie Smaill. He last raced in Auckland for trainers Michelle Wallis and Bernie Hackett in December 2018. He beat Sekkie Monkey by a nose.

Mobile Pace (Up to R59) 2400 metre mobile

The Chelsea Faithful trained Tartan Trilogy easily won this heat by three lengths from Classie Reactor. The distance was cut out in 3-07.0 with the last 800 metres in 57.9.
