Star Qualifier Sold

Boots Electric which qualified impressively at Wyndham on the 27th February has been bought by Australians Emilio and Mary Rosati.
The three year old by Somebeachsomewhere won his 2400 metre mobile qualifier in 2-58.1, 12.9 seconds inside the required qualifying time.
Trained by Brent McIntyre the gelding was bred by Northern Southland Trotting Club President Paul Hailes who shared in the ownership with his brother in law Caine McIntyre.

The gelding has been moved to Cran Dalgety and Nathan Purdon’s stable at West Melton.
He’s the sixth foal out of the five win Live Or Die mare Glenburn Jewel. Hailes has two younger colts out of the mare by Captaintreacherous and Sweet Lou.
Meanwhile Net Ten EOM two year old Beach Start has also been sold.
He was bought by agents Geoff Gibson-Smith and Peter Blanchard.
Beach Start won two workouts and one trial and was down to start in the Kindergarten Stakes but was scratched.
Trained at Winton by Lauren Pearson, Beach Start is out of the six win Badlands Hanover mare Weka Lass. She’s left a handful of winners including Reciprocity (Panspacificflight) which won once for Pearson before heading to Australia. She’s won fifteen races there and paced a mile in 1-53.1.
