DIAMONDS DAY - Day 1

Invercargill Harness Racing Club @ Ascot Park Raceway, Invercargill
For R35 to R50 3yo-&-older trotters. Selection preference highest to lowest rating.
For R51 to R120 trotters. Front: R51 to R57. 10m: R58 to R65. 20m: R66 to R75. 30m: R76 to R85. 40m: R86 to R100. 50m: R101 to R120.
For 3-year-old pacing fillies. Winning connections will receive a Trophy presented by Southern Clubs & a Dress Rug donated by Nevele R Stud/Macca Lodge. This Final will have a maximum of 12 starters. For 3-year-old pacing colts & geldings. Winning connections will receive a Trophy donated by Southern Clubs & a Dress Rug donated by Alabar NZ Ltd. This Final will have a maximum of 12 starters. For R35 to R45 4 yrs & older pacing mares. Also 4 yrs & older mares with 1 win for lifetime. Preferential Barrier Draw Based on: Rating then Winning Stakes using the track grid.
For R40 to R60 4yo-&-older pacers. Also R61 to R65 mares. These races will be split based on Ratings (highest to lowest)/Conditions, meaning a higher rating 1-Win pacer may be included in a lower rating race. Preferential Barrier Draws may be used if deemed necessary, by Ratings then Winning Stakes. The highest rated race will be run for a stake of $20,000. All other races will be run for a stake of $17,500.
For R40 to R60 4yo-&-older pacers. Also R61 to R65 mares. These races will be split based on Ratings (highest to lowest)/Conditions, meaning a higher rating 1-Win pacer may be included in a lower rating race. For R55 to R120 pacers. Front: R55 to R69. 10m: R70 to R79. 20m: R80 to R89. 30m: R90 to R99. 40m: R100 to R120. To be eligible for this Final a horse must have started in at least two heats of this series (view the Southern Harness Racing website). Selection for the Final will be based on points gained in series races (highest to lowest).

  1. RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME


    Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.

  2. ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS


    In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.

  3. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS


    Owners and Trainers are reminded that the club has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the club to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the club of the same.

  4. SPLITTING FIELDS


    In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the club's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.

  5. DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS


    In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.
