Train Station too good
Well bred Train Station (Bettor’s Delight) cleared maiden ranks at Ascot Park today in the Hyde Landscape Mobile Pace.
The four year old gelding from his inside second row draw, was stuck on the pegs for the first fifty metres. But when Better Class broke, driver Brad Williamson was able to get him to the outside running line.
With just over a lap to run, Williamson moved Train Station around the field and with a lap to run he’d taken the lead.

Turning in, he was travelling well and went down to the line to beat High Return by three quarters of a length.

“We drove him positive which was good. He’s pretty green but hopefully he can work it out. As long as he holds together everybody will be happy,” trainer Alister Black said after the win.
