Ryal Bush harness racing trainer Brett Gray reckons Our Twinkle (Ultimate Machete) is the stable’s best bet of the day for the Riverton meeting at Winton tomorrow.

“He’s racing super at the moment. He hasn’t got the best of draws but it could work out alright. It was a big run the other day. He went round and sat parked and ran third. His two runs before that were very very good. He’s a top chance,” Gray said.

Race One: Party Up Denario (Lather Up)

“She’s quite competitive in a rating 35 race. She had a few issues and we had to turn her out. She went 3-02 (at the workouts) the other day. He left the plugs in and never pulled off the back of the other one. I’m expecting a good run on Sunday.”

Race Four: Red Hot Filly Pepper (Sweet Lou)

“Not the best of draws. She got a bit of a cold after that run (2nd on debut). We treated her and gave her a week. Very happy with her work so hopefully we can get a bit of money.”

Race Five: Jaccka Ace (Father Patrick)

“He got back and locked wheels at his last start at Invercargill and he ran home really well. Invercargill isn’t a track for him. He really enjoys Winton and I think he’s a really good chance.”

Race Seven: Drummershavtime (Art Major) and Jaccka Elvis (Captain Crunch)

“He’s (Drummershavtime) been out for a while so hopefully he’s improved a bit. Ability wise I’m leaning towards Jaccka Elvis.”

Race Nine: Arma Forest (Downbytheseaside)

“He’s been racing well against Supremacy Stakes horses but he just might need this run. I don’t mind the horse and he’s one to watch over winter.”
