Brad Williamson takes the lead in Otago trainers premiership battle

Brad Williamson took the lead in the Otago trainers' premiership at Winton on Saturday when Mixed Faith powered to a big win.

The three-year-old relished a step back from racing Group One company when running away from a quality middle grade field.

The win took Brad Williamson to 25 training wins for the season, one in front of his father Phil Williamson.

Though he holds a slender lead with just days to go in the premiership race, Brad is certainly not getting ahead of himself.
