Race Three: Doctor Lavros (3) :
Comment: He’s a big horse who has been sent south to clock up some trotting miles and to learn the trade. He’s been stationed at Ascot Park for a while now so should go better on the track than when he debuted. Blair Orange likes him – so each way.
Race Eight: The Big Lebowski (1)
Comment: Half-brother to big Australian winner John Of Arc. Finished powerfully at Wyndham at his last start coming from last. He’s the big improver in this race. The question mark is barrier draw. Each way with caution.
Race Five: King Cassidy (3)
Comment: Ten win horse off 10 metres. His form is very good so if he steps and runs he could be hard to beat. Could be at okay odds!!
Race Seven: Dachy (9)
Comment: Has won more races than most (8) and runs well for driver Nathan Williamson. Won’t beat the favourite but could place at good odds.
Race Nine: Sentry (4)
Comment: Trainer said he’d need the run last start and he did. The smallish field should suit and he has more class than most here. One for odds.
Race Ten: Celebrating (5)
Comment: Has been based at Craig Ferguson’s Wyndham barn for a while to help get his compass aligned. Seem to be tracking well now and co-trainer happy at where he’s at. Very good place bet.
Race Seven: Cantfindabettorman (4)
Comment: Has Sires Stakes on his radar. That would indicate that his trainers have a good opinion of this horse. Form line is very good and his fifth in strong company points to him winning this race. Go hard go early!!
