Ascot Park Trials Review – Friday 29th May 2020.
The Kirk Larsen trained trotter Andiamo which qualified last week continue on his winning way by beating Jasmine Jaccka and Jannah Jaccka and in the non-winners trot. She’s a three year old filly by Andover Hall out of the five win Sundon mare All Shook Up. The winning margin was a head.
Love On The Rock proved too strong for Flight Crew in a non-win mobile heat. Trained by Kirstin Barclay and Tank Ellis the Terror To Love gelding got up on the outside of Flight Crew to win by a half a length.

Square Dealer which pulled early came home nicely to beat horses rated R55 in a workout heat. The Auckland Reactor gelding had a short stint with Johnny Cox but is now back with original trainer Clark Barron.

Young George looks like a horse with a future when he came down the middle of the track to win a non-win mobile pace by half a length.
He’s by McArdle out of the Holmes Hanover mare Knot For Sale and is trained by Clark Barron.

Major Meister looked ready to resume after he won his mobile heat in the hands of co-trainer Kirstin Barclay. He’s still in his first season of racing and was a race winner at Wyndham in January. Vin Scully, which opened a big lead early, held on for second with Major Watson running home nicely for third.

In the last heat of the day talented square gaiter Afterburner came down the middle of the track to beat King Of The North which ran home well on the inside. The winning margin was half a length.

Other winners today were two year old Arlo Maguire while Wrecking Ball, My Feelgood Romance, Major Tom, Ali Bromac and Whangai qualified.
