Six races - six players

There will be just six races at Ascot Park tomorrow as the venue prepares for Diamonds Day on Sunday.

See below, six runners who all have the capacity to go home with a win.

Race One: My Bonnie Lass (Majestic Son) – trainer Brent McIntyre

Plenty of talent under the bonnet but still a risk. Should be suited by the outside of the unruly. Trotting master Nathan Williamson doing the driving.

Race Two: High Return (Bettor’s Delight) – trainer Brett Gray

Has been going good races, in his two fifth placings he had no luck. Driver Brent Barclay will have to navigate a passage from his second line draw and he follows out a first starter.

Race Three: Hazer (Auckland Reactor) – trainer Chris Gerkin

A fourteen win horse with great track and standing start record. Should have the wood on most of these. Regular pilot Kerryn Tomlinson has the drive.

Race Four: Mr Cash Man (Shadow Play) - trainer Matty Williamson

Has had seven of his ten successes on the course and is well rated to win. Hayden Douglas drives.

Race Five: La Dama (The Pres) - trainer Tony Stratford

Likes to lead and gets a favourable draw to do that. Suited by the short distance stand.  Mark Hurrell in the driving seat.

Race Six: Donny Do (Sweet Lou) - trainer Kirstin Green

From a family that’s produced a stack of good winners, Donny Do is held in high regard by the stable and has had two solid trials since last racing in August. Gets a great draw to work with and Carter Dalgety is in the cart.
