The Robin Dundee Club was formed in Southland in 1988 for women interested in harness racing to make new friends and enjoy similar interests.

The Club holds a range of functions and has supported the Team Teal Annual appeal since it came to New Zealand in 2018.

The Club is pleased to be supporting Team Teal 2023 with an online auction featuring an exclusive range of 10 scarves and snoods. Exclusive and unique.

A stalwart of the Southern Harness Industry, Art Bloxham, is sharing his passion for local fibres and for the success of the Team Teal Appeal.

Not only has Art generously donated the auction items, but he has been involved in the rearing, shearing, combing and dying process, and does all the spinning and preparing of the wool and fibres used in the garments.

When you visit the auction you will find more about the content of each item which will be one or more of Southern merino, alpaca and in some garments, a touch of Indian Pure Silk.

The garments have been on display at Southland meetings in February and can be seen at:

  • Wyndham at Cromwell – Friday 24 February
  • Riverton at Winton – Friday, 3 March
  • Northern Southland at Invercargill – Saturday, 11 March
