These races were originally set down for Diamonds Day at the end of April but Covid-19 put a halt to that schedule.
The Supremacy and Oaks Committee sought permission to run the three feature races in the new season and this was granted by HRNZ although the races have been downgraded to Group Three status.
The three features will all be run at Ascot Park for a stake of $30,000.

Conditions for both the three old year events have remained the same with horses having to start twice in the province to be eligible to run in the final. The only change is the qualifying period ends on July 31st 2020.
The current leader board remains, and horses have just three southern meetings to qualify or improve their stakes position.
